The People's Republic of China, or simply China, is the second most populated nation in the world at 1.6 Billion. Officially governing an area of almost 10,000,000 Kilometers, it is the third largest nation in the world behind Russia and Canada.
History[]
2027-2030, The Taiwanese War[]
In the year 2027, China realized that if they didn't take decisive action, they would soon fall victim to The Collapse, as many Asian nations had already. During an emergency meeting in Beijing, the government noted that in the past, support for a government goes up during wartime. Seeing as they had been building a military presence near Taiwan since the early 2000s, the government felt the solution was obvious, invade Taiwan to stoke patriotism.

At around 1:00am January 26th, 2028 (The start of the Chinese New Year), more than 3/4 of the Chinese Navy left port near Xiamen. At the same time, A joint statement was released claiming that a Taiwanese vessel had fired Missiles at several locations along the coast, several impacted in unpopulated areas and the rest were shot down.
At 11:23am on the same day, the PLAN (People's Liberation Army Navy) started a costal bombardment of several Taiwanese cities and costal installations.
By 1:00pm, both sides had suffered moderate casualties and the United States was holding an emergency session of congress, where they eventually voted to declare war on China by 5:00pm.
China attempted to land troops on several locations across Taiwan with little success, so it mostly devolved into Naval and Air battles around the Taiwanese islands, both sides managing to hold their own. Eventually, many Southeast Asian nations decided that this would be not only a good chance to get revenge on China, but a good way to distract from the current political unrest in their countries. However, the PLA (People's Liberation Army) was experiencing a boost in recruitment and started to be pushed back, resulting in the United States having to deploy forces into Southeast Asia to prevent the governments from collapsing.
2030-2045, Second Asian War[]

Unopposed Chinese Landing in the Philippines, August 30th, 2035
The fighting fronts began to stop changing so rapidly as both sides settled in for a war of attrition. By 2034, peace talks were considered to prevent the war from dragging on, but on August 30th, 2035, China successfully landed troops in the Philippines, quickly taking Manila and threatening Taiwan and Southeast Asia in a single strike. Desperate to regain some territory, strikes all along the front began as the Republic of Delhi entered the war. 2027-2031 would be coined The Great Asian War, with 2035-2043 being coined the Second Asian War, despite both of them being a series of smaller conflicts (Moreso for the first).
A.C.C.A (Alliance to Counter Chinese Aggression) by now consisted of The Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, United States, Japan and Delhi, while the People's Alliance had South India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Laos, and China. Seeking to get the Koreas into the war, both sides began increasing their presence inside both nations. The first to strike was North Korea, firing a Nuclear Weapon at Seoul, killing several million before stampeding across the DMZ in a tactic similar to that used in the Korean War. The firing of the nuke drew International Attention and not wanting to start WW3, China ceased support to North Korea, resulting in the ACCA to land troops all along the Korean peninsula and drive back North Korea. Both sides eventually agreed that the Korea was now neutral territory, and neither side would attempt to take advantage. However, before News of this reached the Yellow Sea, several ballistic missiles had been fired at the USS George H.W Bush, sinking it. The United States would respond by a massive airstrike on Beijing, catching several government buildings ablaze. Continuing the chain, the PLAN sunk the USS Franklin Peirce in the South China Sea. Once again, the United States responded with Airstrikes and Drone attacks. The People's Alliance then started pushing through Myanmar in an attempt to reach Bangkok, Thailand.

On July 4th, 2040, a People's Alliance force of 140,000 met a ACCA force of 80,000 near the town of Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The resulting Battle of Kanchanaburi would result in a Chinese Victory, but thanks to well timed and precise Airstrike and Artillery Support, heavy casualties were inflicted on the Chinese and they were held off for almost a month. These were contributing factors for the pivotal People's Alliance defeat at the Battle of Bangkok on September 1st.
Meanwhile, the ACCA had stopped gaining ground in Vietnam and Laos, which the People's Alliance interpreted as a weakness and launched a Massive offensive to reclaim all of Laos on February 1st, 2041 (Once again the start of the Chinese New Year). The offensive first pushed the ACCA dozens of kilometers, but soon the casualties began to mount and the People's Alliance halted their offensive early, both sides claiming victory.
Later that same year, a mirror event happened when the ACCA attempted to land in the Philippines to liberate Manila, but the resistance was harsher than anticipated and thanks to a spy in the Philippines Resistance lines, it ended out much worse for the Philippines Resistance than the ACCA, who simply fell back. The night after the campaign ended, Resistance figures all across the island of Luzon were killed in their sleep.
By 2042, both sides were sick of fighting and talk of a ceasefire emerged, which went into effect January 1st, 2043. However, neither side planned to uphold the ceasefire and instead build up their forces and industry again until they could launch another offensive.
