Colony Alpha was the first Martian base built on the planet Mars in 2045. It was inhabited by research scientists or preparing the planet to be inhabited by the human race were fleeing the planet due to the destabilization of the moon. They successfully implemented their colony served as a blueprint for the colonization of the planet Mars. Eventually this colony became known as new Geneva. By 2082 the colony was decommissioned and converted into a storage facility. Eventually after terraform was complete this building was torn down and the Memorial was established to commemorate all the people that made the colonization of Mars possible.
