Kiev was once the capital of the Ukraine went was part of the former Soviet Union the city was completely abandoned however in 1989 as a result of radiation caused by the explosion of the Chernobyl nuclear plant. This once great European city was entirely abandoned and was overgrown with plants and trees by 2007. Most experts believe that the city will only be inhabitable by the 34th century. A massive exclusion zone was built around the city beginning in 1993 however it was halted due to the Soviet Civil War and the collapse of the Soviet Union in 2007. The Ukraine completely collapsed as a country in 2018 and still consider no go zone by the United Nations, the European Union, the Security Council and the global peace initiative.
