Original building[]
The Tauranga Central Police station was built in 2018 and is the main centre for police in the city of Tauranga.
2021 occupation[]
In August 2021 Free New Zealand militia attacked and captured the building to free the prisoners being held there, collect confidential information, and to use it as a new Tauranga head quarters for Free New Zealand.
