The headquarters of the BBC and the BBC archives were destroyed in nuclear explosion along with the rest of the city of London in 1982. The British broadcasting Corporation's headquarters was relocated to Birmingham but that studio was burned down in 1983 as a result of the Birmingham riots that killed an estimated hundred 50 people. This network became known as the patriotic freedom network in 1984 and was a propaganda network that promoted the dictatorship of the United Kingdom which has headquarters in the former city of Sussex. This network was extremely problematic and promoted propaganda. This corporation again became the BBC beginning in 2001 when democracy was restored in the country. However it was a shell of its former self and ceased to exist entirely by 2005 when the entire media conglomerate collapsed due to neglect and decades of decline.
