On October 1, 2022, six months after Queen Elizabeth's death the UK have a national referendum to determine if the British monarchy should be abolished. The referendum voted in favor of the abolishment of the British monarchy. the UK became a parliamentary democracy following this. even though this event marks the end of the longest monarchy in world history very few people discussed it because it happened around the same time that the moon's orbit began to destabilize. in 2048 a museum devoted to the history of the British monarchy was built in the colony of Britannia.
