By 2065 95% of the ice in Antarctica had melted flooding the coastlines of the world. This flooding destroyed Amsterdam, most of New York City Miami, the entire state of Florida the Maritimes, Hong Kong and Tokyo. By 2122 all of Antarctica was ice free. By then the Antarctic was a series of islands. In 2143 the Antarctic archipelago began to be inhabited by settlers. Mostly immigrants came from the former country in the Netherlands, the United States and the country of Japan. By 2148 there was 23 colonies in Antarctica. Agriculture was also successfully achieved in 2148. By the 23rd century all of the Antarctic islands were occupied. It was also the most stable region during this century. An American and Canadian Embassy were also established in 2345. By 24 century the population of Antarctica was 55 million.
