The great economic recession of 2068 (Antarctica Archipelago)

In 2068 the economy of the world collapsed and faced a major economic depression. This was a result from all the environmental disasters that was caused by climate change in the 21st century. During the 2060s New York City Hong Kong and Miami were all destroyed by the rising sea levels. This led to the collapse of the American stock market in 2077. Most of the world's economies suffered major economic losses during this era. The most successful country to survive this economic collapse was the Antarctic archipelago which attracted immigrants from all the world. Eventually the world's economy recovered by 2086.
