By 2083 United States economy was an extremely rough shape and there was political turmoil. There is also a major growth in white supremacy and racialized violence. The state of California also left the United States and became part of Singapore. The US capital of Washington DC was in chaos and crime levels were extremely high. On September 8 of 2083 the US Capitol building was blown up by white supremacists. The capitao building was not rebuilt until 2030 when the US economy had fully recovered. It was built with the massive glass dome that was recognized worldwide. The architectural style of this one many awards including the covenant Eloi award which was the Singapore award for outstanding architecture. This new dome symbolized America's recovery from the economic ruin and social chaos of the 21st century.
