Beginning in 2083 the Tasmanian Devil and the Tasmanian Tiger were brought back from extinction and reintroduced to Tasmania. By 2155 the population of mostly recovered I was extremely vibrant. It was also made a crime to kill Tasmanian Tigers or Tasmanian devils in 2099. This was done to ensure that these species were not wiped out again. This was one of the most successful reproductions of the species in the late 21st century it did not result in distraction or widespread human rights abuses such as the creation of woolly mammoth sanctuaries in Siberia and the Antarctic.
