Beginning in the 2040s neopaganism became extremely popular religion in northern Europe especially in the Scandinavian Republic. Pagan festivals such as Yuletide and Saturnalia also gain popularity in this decade. However this led to an extremist Christian movement known as the hand of God they believed the neopaganism stealing souls of children and means a child sacrifice, idolatry and sexual desire. This organization also was responsible for the second Satanic panic which reignited the fears of Satanic cults and child sacrifice. Historians called the second Satanic panic because it was very similar to the Satanic panic of the 1970s and 1980s however it was much more deadly. Eventually a Christian extremists making Jedediah Jackson shot and killed 45 neopagans as Saturnalia celebrations in Lucifer Heights in Lucifer city. Eventually a memorial fund was established to commemorate the victims of this massacre and to protect neopagans from religious persecution.
