Construction[]
The USS Franklin Pierce was the 5th Gerald R Ford-Class Supercarrier of the United States Navy, named after the 14th President of the United States, on request of his family.
The USS Franklin Pierce's construction began with minimal delay on December 4th, 2028, with the kneel of the hull being laid down. Upon the United States's entry into the Great Asian War of 2027, the construction was boosted by the Wartime industrial Complex.
The USS Franklin Pierce was launched on July 4th, 2030 and commissioned on December 31st, 2033, just after the Chinese Victory of the Great Asian War of 2027 and beginning of the Second Cold War.
Service[]
The USS Franklin Pierce was Immediately sent to Korea, where it helped South Korea defend its Maritime Border with China in Mid-2033. After this, the USS Franklin Pierce was sent to Europe as part of a Military Exercise to deter Russia from trying anything while the US Military was distracted in Asia. Here, the ship remained until late 2034, when it was then sent back to Asia to reinforce Taiwan in the Second Asian War.
Second Asian War[]
The USS Franklin Pierce immediately gained a reputation for their aggressive maneuvers, often getting too close to the enemy. This would come to a sad end when the USS Franklin Pierce was lured into a trap pursuing another Chinese ship (PLAN Macao) when it was torpedoed from a distance by a Chinese Submarine (PLAN Changzheng-374), marking the Second carrier lost to enemy action in the Second Asian War.
