This art gallery experienced shut down in 2079 as a result of lack of funds. The art galleries extensive art collection was moved to the Venetian Museum of art and culture. The building of the art gallery was once in was preserved concerning was an ancient Renaissance building with great architectural and historical significance. In 2093 this building was bought and converted into luxury condos for the ultrarich. It became known as the Uffizi condo complex. Residents of Florence were extremely angry about the fact that there once great museum was now condo complex. However the project was unpreventable considering that all the art of the museum had been relocated to the city of Venice in 2079. The mayor Florence consider the loss of this museum while the city's greatest atrocities since World War II.
